02 — Industries
Built for the way Texas businesses work
Every industry runs on technology differently. We design and support systems around the privacy needs, workflows, and uptime demands of yours.
Medical Centers & Clinics
Technology that keeps up with your schedule — and keeps clinical systems separated
The problems we hear from businesses like yours
Imaging, EHR and front-desk VoIP share one flat network, so a large study upload stalls check-in.
Shared Wi-Fi credentials expose patient data to guest and staff devices.
Aging Cat5e and unlabeled patch panels that can't carry imaging reliably.
Why choose 5-NET
VLAN segmentation separates clinical, staff, guest and voice traffic, with firewall rules between them.
Cat6/Cat6A and fiber runs tested, certified and labeled at both ends.
EDR, MFA and patch compliance, with backups and restore testing for practice-management data.
Offices & Firms
An office network that just works — every desk, every call
The problems we hear from businesses like yours
Conference-room Wi-Fi roaming failures and jitter that break video calls and VoIP.
Weak passwords, no MFA, skipped patches and backups nobody has restore-tested.
Client files scattered across laptops, NAS and personal cloud with no access control.
Why choose 5-NET
Surveyed Wi-Fi with QoS tuned for voice and video.
Firewall, EDR, MFA and patch management as the baseline for every seat.
Identity and access management, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace administration, tested backups.
Logistics & Warehouses
Connectivity that reaches the racks, the docks and every site
The problems we hear from businesses like yours
Scanners, dispatch software and yard cameras depend on Wi-Fi that dies at racking, docks and trailers.
Several sites with inconsistent network configs and no central visibility.
One internet link with no failover, so an outage stops the dock.
Why choose 5-NET
Wi-Fi site survey and access point placement for racking and dock doors.
Site-to-site VPN and consistent configs across locations, monitored remotely.
Dual-WAN failover design, plus camera and access control installation.
Hospitality & Cafes
Guest Wi-Fi that earns stars — and systems that survive the rush
The problems we hear from businesses like yours
Guest Wi-Fi is slow or down, and it shows up in your reviews.
POS terminals freeze during a rush, and dining rooms, patios and kitchens have dead zones.
Guest traffic and payment systems share the same network.
Why choose 5-NET
Guest Wi-Fi on its own VLAN and SSID with bandwidth controls, separate from POS and back office.
Access point placement based on a coverage survey, on clean structured cabling.
Consistent configs and one support contact across every location.
03 — Process
A proven four-phase approach
No guesswork and no surprises. Every engagement — from a single office to a ground-up build-out — follows the same disciplined process.

Our local team installs, configures, and tests everything — clean work, minimal disruption to your day.
4
Support
We monitor, maintain, and support your systems around the clock, so small issues are caught before they become outages.
04 — Plans
Managed plans and infrastructure tiers

Our Promise
Your privacy and security come first — always
Technology work asks for a lot of trust: access to your network, your cameras, your files. We treat that trust as the most important part of every job. This is how we work — on every project, for every client.
Privacy and security come first
When we work on your systems, we step inside the most sensitive parts of your business — your network, your cameras, your files, your people’s information. Most IT companies treat that access as routine. We never do. We touch only what the project needs, we tell you before we touch anything, and we build security in from day one. Because the day you can’t trust the people inside your network is the day everything falls apart — and we refuse to ever be that story.
Not like the others
We’re a Houston team, not a call center. The people who design your system are the people who install it — and the people who answer when you call. No outsourcing. No ticket black hole. No jargon designed to confuse you into spending more. We’ll tell you plainly what you need, what you don’t, and what can wait — even when “wait” means less work for us. That’s what honest looks like.
Why businesses pick us
Because downtime costs you money and sleep, and we’re the team that gives both back. You get a team leader who knows your name, standards-based work that’s labeled and documented, and security built in from the start instead of bolted on after something breaks. Your goals come before our technology — every job, every time. That’s why our clients stay, and why they send their friends.
Our core values
Six values guide every assessment, installation, and support call — the standard we hold ourselves to on every job, for every client across Texas.
IntegrityHonest advice and transparent pricing, even when it means recommending less.
Customer FocusYour business goals and your people come before the technology.
InnovationPractical, proven solutions that keep your systems current and ready to grow.
TeamworkOne accountable team working with you — and with your other vendors — as a partner.
ExcellenceClean, documented, standards-based work we are proud to put our name on.
ReliabilityWe show up, we follow through, and we support what we build.
05 — Reviews
Google Reviews
What Houston businesses say about working with 5-NET Solutions.
Reviews coming soon — be the first
We're a growing Houston company and our Google review profile is just getting started. If we've worked on your network, cameras, or phones, we'd genuinely appreciate your honest feedback — it helps other local businesses find us.
We're a growing local company, and the businesses we serve are the reason we keep getting better. Honest feedback — good or bad — goes straight into how we train our team, schedule our work, and support our clients.
A check-in after every job
Once the work is done, we follow up to make sure everything is running the way it should — and to hear what we could have done better.
Tell Houston what you think

Frequently asked questions
Straight answers before you ever pick up the phone. Anything else — call us at (832) 531-0543.
We review 27 checkpoints across your network, cabling, Wi-Fi, security, backups, and phone systems — on site at your business. You receive a plain-English report of what we found, what's urgent, what's fine, and what we'd recommend, in priority order. It's free, and there's no obligation to hire us for any of it.
We're based in Houston, Texas and serve businesses across Texas. Our team is Texas-based — the people who design your system are the people who install and support it. Nothing is outsourced overseas. 5-NET Solutions is licensed & insured.
No — we are installation only. We design, install, and integrate CCTV and access control systems, and we set them up so you can view and manage them yourself. We do not provide live camera monitoring services. If you need a monitoring company, we're happy to make sure your system is installed to their requirements.
Managed plan clients get 24/7 monitoring and support, with issues prioritized by how severely they affect your business — a down network jumps the queue ahead of a single slow workstation. Because our monitoring catches many problems before you notice them, a good share of issues are fixed before your team ever feels them.
Core covers remote IT essentials — endpoint protection, patching, and help desk support. Advanced adds EDR, vulnerability scanning, firewall management, and multi-location networking. Enterprise adds 24/7 monitoring of managed systems, multi-site architecture, a dedicated help desk, and disaster recovery planning. All three are flat monthly plans — see the Plans section for the full feature lists, and start with the free assessment so we can recommend honestly.
Yes — new construction and build-outs are one of our specialties. We handle technology planning from the blueprint stage: structured cabling, network and Wi-Fi design, camera and access control placement, and phone systems, coordinated with your GC and electrician so everything is in before the walls close.
Almost never. The assessment inventories what you already own, and we build around the equipment that's still doing its job. When something does need replacing, we'll show you exactly why — and phase upgrades so they fit your budget instead of landing all at once.
Support plans are flat monthly pricing based on your size and coverage tier — no surprise invoices. Project work (cabling, cameras, build-outs) is quoted up front before we start. The assessment that starts it all is free, so you'll know your options and costs before spending anything.
07 — Assessment
Start with a free 27-point IT infrastructure assessment
A structured review of the systems your business depends on every day — documented in plain English, with honest priorities and zero obligation.
5-NET Solutions ("5-NET," "we," "us," or "our") provides technological infrastructure development, security, and managed IT services to businesses in the Houston, Texas area. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this website and in the course of providing our services, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you contact us through this website, by phone, or by email, we may collect:
Your name and company name
Your email address and phone number
The contents of your message, including details about your project or service needs
Information provided during an assessment, such as the size of your team, your locations, and the systems you use
Information collected automatically. This website is a simple informational site. It does not use analytics software, advertising trackers, or social media pixels, and it does not set cookies. Two technical exceptions apply. First, the page loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers to fetch them, as it would for any external file. Second, if you submit the contact form, your submission is transmitted through FormSubmit, a form-delivery service, which forwards it to our email inbox; FormSubmit processes the information in your submission only to deliver it to us. The site also stores one small flag in your browser's session storage to remember that you dismissed the cookie notice; it is cleared automatically when your browser session ends and is not used to track you.
Client service data. When we provide services, our team may access client systems, networks, and camera systems as needed to perform the work. That access is governed by your service agreement with us, is limited to what the work requires, and is never used for any other purpose.
How we use your information
To respond to your inquiries and provide the free assessment you requested
To prepare proposals, schedule work, and deliver our services
To send service-related communications, such as appointment confirmations, maintenance notices, and invoices
To improve our services and this website
To comply with legal obligations
We do not use your contact information for third-party marketing, and we do not send marketing email to anyone who has not asked to hear from us.
We do not sell your personal information
5-NET Solutions does not sell, rent, or trade personal information to any third party. We share information only with service providers who help us operate (for example, FormSubmit, which delivers contact-form submissions to our email inbox, and our email provider), only to the extent needed for them to perform their function, and only under obligations to keep it confidential and secure.
Data security
We apply the same practices we recommend to our clients: access limited to team members who need it, strong authentication, and encrypted connections where data is transmitted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information with reasonable administrative and technical safeguards.
Data retention
We keep inquiry information only as long as needed to respond and, where a business relationship follows, for the duration of that relationship and any period required for legal, tax, or contractual record-keeping. You may ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).
Your choices and rights
You may request, at any time:
A copy of the personal information we hold about you
Correction of inaccurate information
Deletion of your personal information — email us at contact@5netsolutions.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" and we will delete your information, except where we are legally required to retain it, and confirm when deletion is complete
To opt out of any non-essential communications
A note on state privacy laws. The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act and California's CCPA give residents of those states rights over their personal information — including the right to know what a business holds about you, to correct it, and to ask for its deletion. Those laws have exemptions and thresholds, including for many small businesses, and 5-NET Solutions is a small Houston company. Rather than debate whether a given law reaches us, we simply honor access, correction, and deletion requests from anyone who contacts us, wherever you live. To request deletion of your information, email us at contact@5netsolutions.com and we will take care of it. Because we never sell personal information, there is nothing to opt out of.
Cookies
This site does not set cookies. To remember that you dismissed the cookie notice, the site stores a single flag in your browser's session storage, which your browser deletes automatically when the session ends. There are no analytics or advertising cookies, so there is nothing to opt out of. You can block browser storage in your settings; the site will continue to work, though the notice may reappear on your next visit.
